667 - the neighbour of the beast

Hey, just because I read the opposite in a comment, police <b>IS </b> there to protect you and its <b>COURTS</b>, that do provide justice (well, at least that was the idea, once upon  a time). After an interlude of "Bush II & the kamarilla on a rampage" in this theater, much like a bunch of mean, corrupt, lying and utterly stupid, destructive little sods (I'm sure you met this type of kid), destroying what they don't comprehend  - given the state of this sorry excuse for a brain they have in their heads sometimes, there won't be much left intact in the end. Sometimes, because it seems like 2 of them share one brain, the brain left to commute most of its time. Hope they don't apply the logical AND operator to arrive from what little they understand as at the set of knowledge they share as a group. Would explain a lot regarding the last years, though.

Even for me as a European who always has held quite some respect for the US notion of freedom and who never fails to admire the way your constitution was constructed, basically on the premise to protect the citizens from their administration, or rather what this administration becomes sometimes, it is a really sad experience to see the state of the US after a few years of Bushism.

I keep admiring your constitution though and probably the fact, that even a determined bunch of high powered morons lacking even the most basic  sense of responsibility, probably neither understanding the term nor the concept, could not completely get rid of it. This is yet another reminder of just how sound it was constructed, with what genius and that it has been done like that for a very good reason.

But hey, no matter who really beat up Randi Rhodes, the fact that a stupid (and, lets face it, not so mega-malicious) deed like that is immediately and easily blamed on the political opponent, should make you step back and think about what exactly your society has become.

And, oh, while I'm at it, will the US liberals please stop whining and complaining and starting to show some self respect & courage and, goddammit, will they kindly realize that freedom does not come for free?

Even if one of yours has been beat up by the the other side, so what? Stop yelling "hate crime" - you know what, sometimes you get a beating for sticking to your views, at times your views get you killed and guess what, it is worth it. Stop bothering the courts with that crap, start to lash back and do so viciously. An eye for an eye? No mate, whoever attacks you likely has 2 eyes and 32 teeth, think about it. Do like we do over here, carry the names of the beaten and killed on your lips, in your minds and in your hearts with pride, don't let their sacrifice (well, at times only their bad luck ) be forgotten easily. Show your scars like the medals they are, don't be afraid and never, really never hide. Don't be ashamed of being a little pathetic now and then. <B>AND WHILE YOU'RE AT IT REMEMBER THAT YOU USED TO BE FREE</b>.  Here in Europe, at least in eastern Europe, we still know this and have it deeply embedded in ourselves. From which traditions do you think <b>you</b> are drawing? Obviously thinking that labeling such crap "hate crime" would be sufficient and a court will take care of your freedom instead of yourselves, this being the very core of your responsibilities?
